Yes, the size and type of RV is a personal decision and may depend on any number ofthings; how many people will be traveling, will you be sleeping in the coach, have you ever driven an RV before, is imaging important. Should we consider a different size RV if we are traveling only, and don't plan to sleep in the coach.
Yes, a smaller RV works well for travelling comfortably in style. The refrigetor and facilities can make the trip more convenient, and you can really stretch out. Our motorhomes start at 23' which make for excellent travelling.
Do you rent by the day, week or month.
Our rentals start by the day, with either a 3 or 4 day minimum, depending on the vehicle. The smaller coaches are 4 day minimum while the Executive homes are 3 day minimum.
Are there discounts for longer rentals
Yes, our discounts start at 7 day rentals with the 7th day free and then additional discounts for rentals of one month or more.
How many people will an RV sleep.
The motorhomes accomadate sleeping from 2 to 8 depending on the size and floor plan of the coach. Just because a motorhome is bigger, doesn't mean it sleeps more. It may be best to call or set an appointment to discuss you specific needs. rmation or to set an appointment
Are there costs, above the base rental rate
Yes, some additional costs may apply depending on what you are willing to do. Additional costs that always apply include sales tax, and prep-fee, as well as the fuel and propane you use, and insurance. Charges that may apply included generator, we allow up to 6 hrs/day free, waste tank service (optional) and mileage charges depending on how far you travel.
Do the motorhomes take gas or diesel.
Yes, depends on the motorhome, we have both gas and diesel RV's.
Is there a deposit.
Yes, which is fully refundable within 14 days following return as long is the motorhome is returned in the same rentable condition as it departed. The amount of the deposit depends on the size of the coach. The deposit is itemized in your contract.
De we need a special driver's license?
NO, a valid driver's license in "Good Standing" is all that is required.
Are driving lessons available?
Yes, we want to make sure you are comfortable in driving the motorhome. Once you have booked your reservation, let us know, and we'll schedule a lesson.
Will I get an orientation explaining the operation of the different coach systems?
Yes, usually prior to departure we will conduct an orientation being sure you have a basic understanding of the varying coach systems. This orientation typically takes between 45 - 60 minutes. Be sure to leave enough time.
When can I pick up my RV?
All pick up times are by appointment; 9:00AM to 3:00PM, with Sat, Sun and holidays with special pre-arrangements at additional cost.
When do I need to return the RV?
Returns are by noon of the scheduled last day of your contract. Tere is a charge for each hour or partial haour between 12 Noon and 5:00 PM. Returns after 5:00 PM are charged an extra day.
Can I leave my personal vehicle in a secure location and is there a charge for vehilce storage?
Yes, althouugh we do not assume any liability, you may leave your vehicle our secured lot at no additional charge.
Can you make recommendations for campgrounds?
Although we do not make specific recommendations for campgrounds, we suggest you visit our "Links" page for links to campgrounds, destinations of interest and "Lists" and additional links.
What should we bring?
Your list will be personal, depending on your trip. Consider one or two small grills (charcoal or propane), chairs, collapsable table, beddings, bicycle, dvd's in case it rains, condiments, cooking utensils, place settings, bug repellant sun block, flashlight. We suggest you bring your own to save money, many of these items are available at an extra cost.
Will you deliver and set-up the vehicle?
YES ! We provide delivery and set-up services through out Florida for personal use or Event or Entertaiment needs. Deliver and set-up are at extra cost, contact our office for specific details.
